Sur une base en bois massif bombée, les pigments s’étirent, se croisent et fusionnent sous le geste de l’artisan. La lamination à froid fige cet instant de création et révèle une matière vivante, faite de reliefs et de nuances toujours différentes.

La mécanique au cœur de l’art

Au cœur de cette création prend place notre mouvement mécanique Le Courbet, fabriqué dans notre atelier. Son balancement régulier anime l’œuvre avec discrétion et rappelle le lien intime entre le temps, la matière et le geste de l’artisan.

Les finitions en inox poli main pour une esthétique contemporaine ou en plaqué or pour une présence plus chaleureuse permettent à chacun de trouver le parfait équilibre avec son intérieur. Chaque détail est pensé pour mettre en valeur l’œuvre sans jamais lui voler la lumière.

Comme toutes nos créations, L’Empreinte est entièrement manufacturée en France et bénéficie du savoir-faire reconnu par le label Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV). Plus qu’une horloge, L’Empreinte est une rencontre entre deux métiers d’artisanat : la précision de la mécanique et l’expression libre de la matière.

On a curved solid wood base, pigments stretch, cross, and merge under the artisan’s touch. Cold lamination freezes this moment of creation, revealing a living matter shaped by ever-changing reliefs and nuances.

Mechanics at the heart of art

At the core of this creation lies our mechanical Le Courbet movement, crafted in our workshop. Its regular swing gently animates the artwork, recalling the intimate bond between time, matter, and the artisan’s gesture.

Finishes in hand-polished stainless steel for a contemporary aesthetic or gold-plated for a warmer presence allow everyone to find the perfect balance with their interior. Every detail is designed to enhance the artwork without ever stealing its light.
